250 practice questions for the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology test (5331), the national exam you pass for ASHA's CCC-SLP and most state licenses. They follow the ETS test specifications, weighted the way the real test is: Foundations and Professional Practice, Screening, Assessment, Evaluation and Diagnosis, and Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Treatment, about a third each, across the big nine areas from speech sounds and fluency to hearing and swallowing. Many are moments from the clinic, the school and the hospital: the toddler who points but doesn't talk, the flat tympanogram, the patient who coughs on thin liquids, the parent who asks you to promise results. Each is tagged to its outline topic, so your score report shows exactly where you miss, and every answer explains why the best choice is best and names its public source.
The real test: 132 selected-response questions in 150 minutes, on computer; ETS says some may not count toward your score. It is scored from 100 to 200, and the ASHA passing score for the CCC-SLP is 162 (your state may set its own), so there is no fixed percent. It covers 3 content categories of about 44 questions each: foundations and professional practice, screening and assessment, and treatment, across the big nine areas. Our practice test is full length, 132 questions in 150 minutes, split evenly like the test, passing at 70% (93 of 132).
Here: 250 questions. Our own practice questions, built on the test specifications in the ETS Study Companion for Speech-Language Pathology (5331) and written from public sources (the ASHA Practice Portal, the ASHA Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice, CDC, NIDCD, IDEA, HIPAA, FERPA, CMS and standard speech-language pathology texts), with every answer's source named. Topics are the test's 3 content categories. Not ETS's test questions. Free.
