Before you go
Say where you're headed
One line in your own words, like "15 miles NW out of John's Pass" or "paddleboarding the Treasure Island causeway until sunset." Your family sees it, and it goes in the overdue text.
Pick a back-by time
Set when you'll be back and how many are aboard. The app remembers your boat, your crew and your usual trip.
NOAA marine conditions
Wind and seas for Tampa Bay before you leave the ramp, straight from the National Weather Service.
Know who's watching
Before each trip the app shows who will actually get an alert, and warns you if nobody has said YES yet.
On the water
Live map for family
They get a text with a private link. It opens in any phone's browser, iPhone or Android. No app, no login.
Works through dead zones
No signal offshore? Your phone keeps recording and sends the track when signal comes back. How signal loss works.
When to head in
Tells you when to start back to make your time, based on your boat's real speed, and warns you before dark.
Help screen
VHF 16, 911 and towing one tap away, plus a button that sends your family your position and what's going on.
Running late? One tap
Add 30 minutes, or tap Running late to add an hour and tell your family you're fine before anyone worries.
Voice messages
Short voice clips between you and your family, in the app and on their map page.
Battery saver
Checks in less often when your battery is low, gives your family a heads-up at 12%, and stops at 10% to save the phone for calls.
Coming back
Back at the ramp
Pull into the ramp where you launched and the app asks if you're back. Tap yes and your family gets "back, all good."
Any public ramp in Tampa Bay
Coming in somewhere else? The app knows 91 public boat ramps and 97 kayak and paddleboard launches in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Pasco, and asks there too. It never ends your trip by itself.
If you're late
15 minutes late, your family knows
Our server checks every minute. Your family gets your last position, your boat, how many are aboard, your plan, and what to do.
Works even if your phone dies
The overdue check runs on our server, not your phone. A dead battery or no signal can't stop the alert.
Still no word? Everything 911 needs
45 minutes later, a firmer text with what a 911 or Coast Guard dispatcher will ask for, all in one message.
The map shows exactly where
Once you're overdue, the family map shows your real last position, even near the launch where it's normally hidden.
Someone you know is overdue? Here's what to do.
After the trip
Trip history
Every trip saved with your track, distance, speeds and the conditions at launch, plus a log for notes.
Export your track
Send any trip to Navionics, Garmin or Google Earth as a GPX file.
Privacy
Only during trips
Your location is shared only while a trip is running, and only with the people you pick.
Your start stays private
The family map hides where you launched, which is often your home, unless you're overdue.
Texts people agreed to
Each family member replies YES before getting anything, and can reply STOP anytime. Never marketing.
No ads, nothing sold
We don't sell data. The app has no ads.
