Florida Class G Practice Test: Free 28-Hour Firearms Course Written Exam Questions
200 practice questions for the written exam in Florida's 28-hour Class G statewide firearm course, built on the lessons the FDACS Firearms Training Manual requires: the legal section (the Class G license and chapter 493's rules for armed officers, crimes and liability, and use of deadly force under chapter 776), then firearms safety and storage, revolver and pistol familiarization, ammunition, the fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing and loading, cover, malfunctions and cleaning, plus the range qualification rules. Every answer explains why, with a Remember line, and names its source, usually the statute, the rule or the manual page. A study aid; your Class K instructor teaches the handling and the range.
The real test: Your Class K instructor gives a written exam on all the classroom content of the 28-hour course, and you need at least 70% before the range (FDACS Firearms Training Manual). FDACS publishes no question count. Then you must score at least 168 of 240 points (70%) on the 48-round handgun qualification course. Our practice test is 50 questions in 60 minutes, split by the manual's lessons, passing at 70% (35 of 50); it does not simulate shooting.
Here: 200 questions. Our own practice questions on the lessons of the FDACS Firearms Training Manual (P-02079, rev. 01/23), written from the Florida Statutes (chapters 493, 776, 790 and others), rule chapter 5N-1 and the manual itself, with every answer's source named. Not an instructor's or the state's test questions. Free.
