Florida CNA Practice Test: Free Written Exam Questions on the State Outline

513 practice questions for Florida's certified nursing assistant (CNA) written test, sorted into the 5 areas of the state's own outline: Role of the Nurse Aide (20%), Promotion of Safety (22%), Promotion of Function and Health of Residents (20%), Basic Nursing Care (24%: observing and reporting changes, and emergencies like chest pain, choking, seizures, stroke signs, low blood sugar, falls, bleeding and burns) and Specialized Care for Residents with Changes in Health (14%: impairments, confusion, depression, and caring for the dying). They are the same questions as our national (NNAAP) level, tagged to Florida's outline, plus Florida-only questions on Florida CNA law. Your score report shows which Florida area you miss, and every answer explains why the best choice is best and names its public source.

The real test: Florida gives its own CNA exam through Prometric for the Department of Health: a written test of 60 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes on a computer (English or Spanish, audio on request) and a clinical skills test of five scored skills, including handwashing and indirect care. Results are pass or fail. Fail either part three times and you must complete a state-approved training program of at least 120 hours. The written test follows a 5-area state outline, with basic nursing care (24%) and safety (22%) the largest. Our practice test has 60 questions in 90 minutes, split by the 5 areas, passing at 70% (42 of 60).

Here: 513 questions. Our own practice questions, built on the Florida CNA written test outline (Candidate Information Bulletin, Rev. November 2025) and written from public sources (42 CFR 483, CDC, OSHA, CMS, MedlinePlus, the National Institute on Aging, the American Heart Association and Florida law), with every answer's source named. Topics are the 5 areas of the outline. Not the test makers' questions. Free.
